It’s been a long time

I am beginning to realise that blogging is like exercise, dieting, New Year’s resolutions and managing a reward system for your child - it is something you start with the best intentions but that can get dropped when your time is squeezed and you are under pressure.
Maybe this is where Twitter and Facebook come into their own - it doesn’t feel right to only write a few words for a blog but with the word limit on Twitter you can keep it short and sweet and just remind those around you that you are still here. It’s the same for Facebook - post a comment and leave it at that. But is it worthwhile communicating just for the sake of it? Or should we always be cautious about what we say, when we say it and how? When does the power of communication just become a lot of white noise?
So, what have we been up to lately? Well we’ve launched two sites recently - one for a new solicitors specialising in Immigration that has recently opened in Luton called JL Solicitors. The other is the launch of the EURECIA project website to support an exciting new project being led by Dr Maria Nedeva at the Manchester Insitute of Innovation Research, University of Manchester, UK.
We are currently finalising a website for YozuMannion who work in the field of International Health and are involved with some fascinating projects in China and Africa, including the Paths2 project in Nigeria. We have worked with them on a number of projects and are in discussion about some very interesting opportunities in the New Year including one to develop health related content and discussion materials at a Harm Reduction conference in Bangkok.
So we’re in the process of gearing down to the end of the year and gearing up for the start of 2010. Time to go and write those resolutions…
