I spent a very enjoyable morning yesterday teaching our clients at YozuMannion how to use the WordPress system along with the basic rules of blogging. We spent a couple of hours finding out just how easy it is to content manage and maintain your website via WordPress which uses blog technology and is incredibly user-friendly and easy to learn.

We also discussed the joys of blogging and why it is such a valuable online tool if you use it well which ties in nicely with a meeting we’re having today with a company who are looking for SEO advice. In fact we seem to regularly come across companies who want an SEO quick fix. It seems to us that this is something you can throw a lot of money at or you can put in a lot of time and effort to maintain a valuable and interesting blog yourself.

In the current marketplace most companies are looking to save money, but they are also keen to get good value out of their websites and part of this means people need to be able to find them in their online searches. So which do you spend – time or money?

And guess what? They get a great return on the investment they have put in to their website and their blog. They have great search engine listings AND good web traffic.
