I went to my third 4n Business Breakfast at Godalming yesterday morning and was slightly nervous when I walked in on a large banqueting style layout and realised this group was going to be much bigger than my first two!

But it was great. Everyone was as welcoming and lovely as ever and the 4sight presentation by Elvira Villarini at E-motion NLP was fascinating. Would highly recommend hearing her speak.

So I learnt about the Bowen Technique for treating muscles differently to normal massage; that yes, there is an Athena networking group in Guildford; and also had a debate about the difference between ‘Communications’ and ‘Marketing’. And all before 10am.

It was also the perfect opportunity to do some more marketing research into how people use Twitter, blogging, Facebook, etc. and what restrictions some organisations or businesses have on using any forms of social media.

As with all things it’s not some magic formula, one-size fits all and that’s one of the great things about my job - getting to know a client and their business and working out what they should do and how they should do it to support and build their business.
