On February 1st 2011, Brooks & Ware Architects launched their new company brand, BWP Architects along with their new website. We have been fortunate enough to work with this successful firm of Architects since its early days and this is the third website we have built for them.
The rebrand was as a result of expanding to take on a third partner, James Palmer who runs their Yorkshire office, based in Harrogate. James’s arrival meant a name change to Brooks, Ware & Palmer Architects LLP or BWP Architects for short.
In addition to the website, the rebrand included the creation of a new company logo and email addresses. The new site at www.bwparchitects.com is built in WordPress with an integrated blog and includes links to Flickr, Facebook, all three partner’s LinkedIn profiles and to Leigh Brook’s Twitter feed. As Brooks & Ware Architects, and now as BWP Architects, they have made extensive use of social media having run a regularly updated blog since September 2008.
This new site also benefits from sliding imagery and streaming video and enables users to subscribe to two RSS feeds – one for the blog, the other for their constantly expanding Projects section.
To ensure the smooth transition from one company brand to the other, we have also set-up email forwarding from the previous email addresses to the new ones to avoid any loss of contact with current, new or potential clients and suppliers. We are also hosting the old website alongside the new BWP Architects site for a period of time.
